Giving back to Community ...continued (again)

Breakaway Displays is passionate about community. We believe in taking part not only in our local community, but far beyond the boundaries of our immediate community. We do this by volunteering time and resources to charities and causes we believe are making a difference in our day-to-day lives.

We'd like to thank all the brave men and women who sacrifice so much for our country. Active and retired military personnel and their dependent family members can receive a 15% discount. Please fill out our Contact Form with with your military email address and we will send you a discount code.

In addition to being stewards of our community, we've made the socially conscious decision to use recyclable and recycled materials in 100% of our packaging. We strive to continually reduce the carbon footprint Breakaway Displays leaves behind in our world.

COOP's Kick Cancer Campaign

March, 2012
A Cause very close to the Breakaway Family

This round of giving was something very close and personal to us. John Cooper is a dear part of the Breakaway Family and in November 2011 was hit with the worst news a person or family can get: Stage 3-4 colon cancer.

John is a brother, husband, father, grandfather, and much much too young to leave this all behind so soon. Another thing about John, he's also a fighter and is determined to "kick cancer's ass" (his favorite saying). If you want to read more about John's story, please visit his Life Line page at

John's incredibly positive attitude towards life and his wonderful support system are getting him through this better than most. However, the surgeries, treatments, and not being able to work as already taken a financial toll on his family. So it was a no-brainer for this round of Breakaway Displays' giving. If you want to join in on the cause, please Donate to COOP's Kick Cancer Campaign. Thanks for taking the time to learn more about John and putting him in your thoughts.

Tickets From The Heart

November, 2011

This 2011-2012 hockey season Kroenke Sports Charities "Tickets from the Heart" ticket donation program partnered with the Rocky Mountain USO "Me and A Friend" program to give military children the opportunity to attend a Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche or Colorado Mammoth game at Pepsi Center.

We at Breakaway Displays are extremely fortunate and were thrilled to give almost 50 children of our military members the opportunity to see a hockey game. Kroenke Sports Charities is always heavily involved in the community and Breakaway Displays is a regular contributor to its various causes. This particular campaign was one we could not pass up.

We were excited to be a part (albeit small part) of the Community Shares Summer Celebration by donating a Matt Duchene signed Colorado Avalanche Hockey Stick and a set of our Original Hockey Stick Holders to raise money in the silent auction.

Community Shares of Colorado is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that inspires philanthropy and raises funds and awareness for its 115 member nonprofits. Their goal is to connect Colorado to the Charities and Causes that they care about most. For more information about Community Shares, please visit
